Okay, so the house is now officially on the market.  Woohoo.  Finally!  Here it is.  We need more photos, and almost-ex wants a better pic of the house, since it's kinda shadowy, but hell, it's out on the market, so we're way closer to selling.

We were supposed to have 2 showing on sunday, which failed to go through, but it did make us finish cleaning and repairing, so it was all to the good.  The house looks pretty dam fine, and all I have to do is upkeep.  Not fun, lol, but much easier than trying to spend hours each day painting/packing as well as looking after the kids and working 3 or 4 nights a week.

It started with a phone call

Around 11 am I get a phone call from my eldest's school.  She'd gotten a cut, and I needed to come get her.  I think, 'oookayyy... pick her up cuz of a cut?'.

I get there, and the poor tyke has an inch long gash in her scalp!  The only place in town to get her sewn up is the hospital, of course, so I ended up taking her and my 3 yr old up to the hospital.  Sigh.  We got home at 4 pm.

Long day, very stressful, but the kids were awesome, handling the whole thing so well, they both got slurpees!  Lol and McDonalds for dinner.  Very well rewarded, I just hope they can live with ordinary life (which features far less sugar!).

Oh, and youngest insisted I hold her up so she could watch the stitches get put in.  Eewww!  That meant mommy had to watch too; had to answer all her questions.  "What's that?"  "Thread."  "What's he doing?"  "Sticking the needle in and tying a knot."  Point.  "What's that?"  "A special needle."  "What's that?"  "Blood."

Poor mommy has no stomach for that kind of thing.  Bleh.
