While I was never much of a gamer as a kid, we never owned an atari (though I occasionally got to play at my cousin's house), however I was still aware of it going on around me, and it was an embedded part of my own childhood.  

So the pictures of the I Am 8-bit art show really gave me the bone deep pleasure of having one aspect of those years remembered and celebrated (with a little poke of fun!).
