We went to see Pirates 2 last night.  I still have to say that out of the three movies we've seen this summer (X3, Superman Returns & Pirates 2), the best is still Superman Returns.

Pirates was good, lots of fun action, but it was too... deep.  They took all the characters and made them fully realized people, and really, Captain Jack isn't someone who really shows off well that way.  I mean, he's great in a lighthearted take, but add depth, and he becomes kind of repulsive.  So that kind of lessened my liking of the movie.  Go figure; greater characterization being something I'd dislike in a movie!

well, on a scale of 1 to 10, it's definately a 5.5.  Lol, I've seen far worse!  Now we absolutely have to see #5!
