I don't know why I'm still up. It must be the pepsi I drank an hour ago. Or else I have some strange need to be up late again.  I guess some of the insomnia is back, and I just didn't want to admit it.  I think it's the fact that I'm alone at night.  No one needing me constantly, asking me questions or needing attention.  It's kind of nice.

conversation taking place a few hours after I recorded our april fool's podcast. We record on the tabletop pc, because it gets a better sound than my laptop. the pc is primarily the territory of my husband Bob, and he spends most of his time playing america's army on it, using Teamspeak to talk to his buddies in his clan.

Bob: hon, did you do something to my computer?
Me: uh, no. why?
Bob: I can't get the headset to work.
Me: I didn't do anything.
pause while he grumbles and fiddles.
Me: did you plug the headset's mic back in?
pause
Bob: no. 

I'm feeling so lethargic. I had an anxiety attack this morning, which really pisses me off. I tend to get them when unexpected things happen to me. Today, when I expected to sleep in a little, do some phone calls, go swimming and see V for Vendetta in the evening.( Read more... )
